I love everything about painting ! ! !

 

Thinking about painting . . . preparing the canvas . . . choosing the palette colors . . . laying out the colors on the palette . . . analyzing the subject . . . looking at value changes . . . seeing the plane changes . . . applying the paint to the canvas . . . signing my name . . . watching it dry . . . applying the finish coat . . . choosing the frame . . . hanging the piece . . . looking at it from every angle . . . makes me happy.

 

Someone wanting to hang one of my paintings in their home or office to look at every day . . . gives me such joy.
